Study programme

The Electronics Engineering Degree will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary in automation and technology to become an electronics engineering professional.

You will study subjects to learn how to design and develop the industrialisation of innovative electronics equipment and the automation of industrial processes. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to design electronic equipment, products and systems that help to optimise the functioning of the various units that make up the production chain.

Subjects in the Industrial Electronics Engineering Degree

Basic Sciences

MATHEMATICS

You will be able to solve mathematical problems that may arise in engineering.

PHYSICS

You will learn to apply the laws of mechanics, thermodynamics and electromagnetism to solve problems.

COMPUTER SCIENCE

You will acquire knowledge about programming, operating systems and databases applied to engineering.

CHEMISTRY

Chemistry is the basis of all materials, so it is important to know their structure before starting to study them in depth.

GRAPHIC EXPRESSION

You will identify the necessary elements to create and interpret drawings and learn how to use digital tools to do so.

Electronics

DIGITAL ELECTRONICS

You will acquire the necessary knowledge about the digital controllers commonly used in the industry.

ELECTRICAL DRIVES

You will have an exhaustive knowledge of the different transformers and electrical machines that will allow you to select and design the most efficient solutions.

ANALOGUE ELECTRONICS AND INSTRUMENTATION

You will design and analyse analogue circuits, amplifiers and power supplies, where you will acquire the necessary knowledge about the fundamentals and applications of analogue electronics.

POWER ELECTRONICS

You will find out about the different electronic devices and their control for the conversion of electrical energy by means of the various types of converters.

Automation

ROBOTICS

You will acquire the necessary skills to programme and control different industrial robots.

AUTOMATION OF INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES

You will develop the ability to design industrial automation and control systems for industrial applications.

PROCESS AND CONNECTIVITY MONITORING

You will learn how to interact with the machine or process, make diagnoses and take energy efficiency and automation measures through device connectivity.

SAFE MACHINESS

You will learn how to carry out safety studies and reports, selecting, installing and programming safety controllers that comply with the directives in force in the industry of each country.

Skills

COMMUNICATION

You will be able to present, argue and defend your ideas with formal and appropriate language for all kinds of audiences.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

You will acquire the skills to organise and manage projects related to electronics.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

You will be able to organise, manage and supervise the electronic equipment of the production systems.
