Access and admission
ACCESS TO STUDIES
a) Students who have previously attended the following studies and are in possession of one of the following Spanish university degrees may access this Master’s Degree – without any complementary training.
Graduates in Industrial Design and the equivalent courses.
b) Students who have previously attended the following studies and are in possession of one of the following Spanish university degrees may access this Master’s degree – with complementary training.
University graduates with official courses related to the fields of engineering and architecture.
These students must attend, if they have not done it before:
- Visual communication (4 ECTS)
- Design methodology (4 ECTS)
c) People who have previously studied for a degree (even if they do not fall under the branch of engineering and architecture) may access this master's degree with complementary training, provided that they can accredit professional experience in the field of design. They must attend, if they have not done it before
- Visual communication (4 ECTS)
- Design methodology (4 ECTS)
d) Students in possession of a foreign university degree, issued by a higher education institution of the European Higher Education Area, who are trained in the country issuing the certificate to ensure access to Master's degrees, shall have access to the course. In this case, direct access to the Master’s Degree course or access with previous complementary training shall be admitted, depending on the equivalence of the foreign degree in relation to those referred to in sections a) and b) above.
e) Graduates may be admitted according to educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area without the need for approval of their degrees, after verification by the University that they have been accredited with a level of training equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish university degrees and that they are trained in the country issuing the certificate for access to graduate education. In this case, direct access to the Master’s Degree course or access with previous complementary training shall be admitted, depending on the equivalence of the foreign degree in relation to those referred to in sections a) and b) above. A reserve is established of 5 percent of the places offered to students who have a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33 percent, as well as to students with permanent educational support needs associated to personal circumstances of disability, who have required resources and assistance during their previous studies for their full educational inclusion.
In all the cases outlined, equal access will be given, with conditional matriculation, to those students who still need to pass the TFG (or equivalent) with a maximum of 9 ECTS credits.
ADMISSION IN THE STUDIES
Students will be admitted on the basis of the following criteria: academic record, CV, the portfolio submitted and the individual interview.
