INTERNATIONAL ITINERARY – ERASMUS + STUDY

The Master’s Degree in Strategic Design offers an International Itinerary during the second year. The goal is to promote the bilateral mobility of students, signing agreements between universities, for the development of their studies abroad.

In the mobility stays, held during the first semester of the second year, our students have the opportunity to study at prestigious foreign universities. Students who opt for the International Itinerary may specialise for 5 months in one of these universities:

  • Strate School of Design (Paris) 
  • École de Design Nantes Atlantique (Nantes) 
  • Escola Superior de Artes e Design (Oporto) 
  • Universidade Do Minho (Braga) 
  • Politecnico Di Milano (Milan) 
  • Aalborg University (Aalborg) 
  • Art Academy of Latvia (Riga) 
  • Ondokuz Mayis Üniversitesi (Samsun) 
  • Turku University of Applied Sciences (Turku) 
  • University of Sköude (Sköude) 
  • Estonian Academy of Arts (Tallin)

Students will be recognised for the credits agreed in the Learning Agreement.

Students who opt for the Erasmus + Study International Itinerary will not obtain the Dual Itinerary certificate.

In Europe, the stays will be made through the Erasmus + studies programme, and outside Europe, through Bilateral Agreements. Through the Erasmus + Programme, students will receive the European Scholarship (OAPEE) or a scholarship from the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport. In addition, students may also apply for a Basque Government scholarship.

Through the Bilateral Agreements, students will have the option to apply for the Basque Government scholarship.

International Itinerary – Erasmus + Internships

Through this programme, our students can carry out their projects in foreign universities, companies or research centres, in a full-year project (60 ECTS).

Students who opt for the Erasmus International Itinerary + Internship will receive the Dual Itinerary certificate.

The projects in European universities will be covered by the Erasmus + Study programme, while projects carried out in European companies or research centres will be covered by the Erasmus + Practices programme. Outside of Europe, projects will be carried out in universities through Bilateral Agreements and in companies through the University-Business Agreement.

With the Erasmus Study and Internship programme, students, apart from receiving the Erasmus grant and the supplement granted by the Ministry of Education, may also receive mobility grants offered by the Basque Government.

Students who opt for the International Study Itinerary abroad will not obtain the Dual Itinerary certificate.

Scholarships and Grants

Through the Erasmus + programme, students have the option of receiving the European Scholarship (OAPEE) a scholarship from the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport. In addition, they may also request the international mobility programme of the Basque Government.

Outside of Europe, students will have an opinion to apply for the scholarship of the international mobility programme of the Basque Government.
