MENDEBERRI 2025:

Definition of the axis of the educational model

Develops his/her creativity and promotes innovation to comprehend the multiple and complex challenges existing both locally and globally, and efficiently poses and shares proposals to confront them.

Characteristics

In this area people are trained to become multi-communicators. Different elements have to be taken into consideration here. To achieve effective communication and active listening with others, both in-person and synchronous learning, even for communication with strangers, training will be given so people know how to express their own ideas, proposals and queries easily and intelligibly. Outside their comfort zone they must learn to use different types of communication and make use of all the tools available.

In this direction, in addition to ICTs, they can find new forms of communication and each individual must find the most efficient way to transmit what they wish to communicate, using creativity and innovation as basic tools. Additionally, they must be capable of identifying and synthesising the most important or significant aspects of what they want to share.

Furthermore, bearing in mind the growing importance of relations, the student will be encouraged to take the initiative in communicating, speaking in public, stimulating discussion in meetings, speaking on the phone and by video conference, negotiating, etc. In this way, different aspects of communication will be worked on
