Managing projects and people

You will be able to manage, coordinate, design and plan energy-related tasks and lead the entire team involved.

Sectors

As energy is a necessary raw material for practically any productive or industrial process, the practice-based work methodology of the Bachelor's Degree in Energy Engineering will equip you with the necessary skills to work with energy in multiple sectors:

Motor vehicle industry

Regarding the different processes for generating, storing and distributing the energy needed to drive electric and hybrid cars.

Industry and machine tools

Participating in the development of power supply systems to make production more energy efficient.

R&d&i departments

Participating in the analysis, design and development of technologies related to energy generation, storage and distribution in the renewable energy sector.

Energy engineering

Companies that carry out the planning, management and implementation of high-level energy engineering projects.

Energy production

You will be able to work in the supervision and maintenance of the production, storage and distribution network of different types of energy production plants.

A smart neighborhood in Vitoria-Gasteiz

The energy model in housing, neighborhoods and cities is slowly changing and Mondragon Unibertsitatea is actively participating in several pilot tests. One of them has been the transformation of the Coronación neighborhood in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Aligned with the strategy of smart cities without C02, the European project SmartenCity has implemented an action plan: more than 300 houses in the neighborhood have been termally isolated, a geothermal power plant has been installed, a monitoring system has been created and the electric bus line has also been incorporated. Energy Engineers can make contributions in different areas and Mondragon Unibertsitatea is fully involved in this type of real innovation projects.

The possibilities offered by the sea from an energy point of view

Professor Markel Peñala explains in this Teknopolis session the possibilities offered by the sea from an energy point of view, as well as the possibilities for Basque industry to be at the forefront in the marine energy sector. Markel is a lecturer and researcher at Mondragon Unibertsitatea and works with several companies and institutions on research and transfer projects related to wind energy.
