REQUIREMENTS TO STUDY GLOBAL DIGITAL HUMANITIES

The degree in Global Digital Humanities (HDG) is for people with concerns, people who are curious and love more than one discipline, such as the following: Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, International Relations, Multimedia and Digital Design, Philosophy, International Studies, Tourism, Cultural Studies, Geography, History, etc.

If you are interested in these topics, in this bachelor's degree you will deal with the contents of these areas in a practical, innovative and transformative way, combining the Humanities with digital technologies.

Before you apply to the Degree Program in Global Digital Humanities (GDH), it is recommended that you identify with at least some of the following statements:

TWO CYCLES AND TWO KEY AREAS

The bachelor’s degree is organized in two cycles: the first cycle is mainly in Basque (with some Spanish and English as well) and the second cycle is mainly in English.

  • First cycle (1st and 2nd years): Social Innovation. You will have a tutor to accompany you during your studies. At the end of the 1st cycle you will choose your plan of study with your tutor’s help.
  • Second cycle (3rd and 4th years): you will choose one of two key areas:
    1. Global Studies: trains you to become internationalization manager.
    2. Digital Humanities: trains you to become digital transformation manager.
