ITP Aero gives a training session for students of the Degree in Energy Engineering
The training session of ITP Aero focused on gas turbines and aeronautical engines.
The students of the third year of the Degree in Energy Engineering of Mondragon Unibertsitatea received a training session from the Basque company ITP Aero, a world leader in aeronautical engines. Javier Hervás, engineer at ITP Aero, offered a workshop on gas turbines and aeronautical engines on the Orona Ideo campus. He reviewed the history of the aviation industry (from the Wright Brothers’ first airplane to today’s aircraft), analysed the design and operation of the different aircraft engines, and explained crucial aspects when developing said engines.
In addition, Hervás explained to the students how they work at ITP Aero, making it easier for students to understand the operation of a high-added value technology company.
