Higher-Level Training Cycles of Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa open their doors to companies from the Alto Deva region

The collaboration of companies is a key element in the educational model of the Higher-Level Training Cycles of Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa (MGEP), a collaboration that has been demonstrated during the open day for companies, which was held on 6 February.

MGEP’s Garaia building welcome a number of representatives from collaborating organisations that have attended a full programme during the morning. First, the people responsible for the dialogue between MGEP and the organisations clarified the details and doubts regarding the process of incorporating students into the company.  

Nicolás Sagarzazu, Director of Planning and Organisation of the Department of Education and Deputy Ministry of Professional Training of the Basque Government; Carlos García, Coordinator-General of Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa, and Gorka Aretxaga, Professional Training Coordinator, were also present at the day.  

Several collaborating organisations took the floor to present experiences considered good practices implemented in their companies. The last part of the day consisted of a visit to the workshops and laboratories of the Higher-Level Training Cycles of MGEP, where the coordinators of each cycle presented the professional profile and gave the floor to the students, who showed the Project results, including challenges in which they have worked on and are working on during their learning process.   

A day to get to know the collaborators better and continue to strengthen ties between MGEP and the companies, learn about other experiences and open doors to future collaborations.
