CircularTRANS workshop: Project offering best practices, tools and advice to companies to move towards circular economy
The CircularTRANS project promoted by the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa and Mondragon Unibertsitatea aims to improve the competitiveness of companies through the transition to a circular economy.
Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa has organised an online conference to present the CircularTRANS project, a digital platform that guides industrial organisations towards the circular economy with the aim of improving their competitiveness. The project led by the new Mondragon Unibertsitatea research group on the Circular Economy and Industrial Sustainability has the support of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa and the involvement of several development programmes. After two years of joint work involving the promoters, a digital platform is now available to all companies in the region.
The CircularTRANS digital platform integrates circular economy strategies into the organisation's internal processes and does so within a cycle of continuous improvement. The process proposed by the platform to guide organisations consists of five stages (diagnosis, analysis, selection of opportunities, roadmap and an action plan) and offers support resources to carry it out (training modules, examples of good practices, implementation tools, advice from experts and participation in a collaborative community).
The event will take place on February 25, from 11:30 to 12:30 and will be in telematic format. During the session, attendees will learn about the opportunities offered by the circular economy in industry and how to address them through the new CircularTRANS digital platform. The session is aimed at people from any industrial company department, since the transition to the circular economy can start from various areas of the organisation.
