The importance of technology and innovation applied to the health sector means that biomedical engineering professionals are increasingly in demand.

Upon graduation you will be fully prepared to work in the various fields, ranging from the design, development and implementation of new technologies into medical machinery and instruments, to analysis and research for regenerative medicine or the development of new medicines or prostheses. Among other things, you will perform professional duties such as:

  • • Designing, developing and maintaining products, equipment, processes and services, in the following fields:
    • Diagnostic equipment (scanners, ultrasound systems, lab-on-a-chip devices, etc.).

The Biomedical Engineering Degree prepares you to work in any of the companies and organisations within the health sector.
