Last week the National University Sports Conference was held in the city of Castellón
Last week, October 26 and 27, were the National University Sports Conference, organized by the Sectoral Commission for Student Affairs of the CRUE and the Jaume I University of Castellón, and the Plenary Session of the CEDU.
The first day we had the opportunity to listen to several presentations on the topic of the dual career of high-performance athletes and their needs in general to be able to combine academic and sporting careers. In addition, groups worked on other topics such as the promotion of physical activity, a census of sports facilities in Spanish universities or the visibility of university sports. While on the second day the plenary session of the CEDU (Spanish University Sports Committee) was held with the participation of representatives of all the universities and the CSD (Superior Sports Council).
They have been really enriching days and we hope to continue in our line of continuous improvement with the ideas gathered in these days.
