Advanced data analysis and viewing course aimed at professionals with the collaboration of Microsoft Power BI and Bilbao Council ICTs department
Over 1,500 professionals have benefited from the Business Intelligence courses sponsored by SPRI Enpresa Digital and taught by Mondragon Unibertsitatea ICTs specialists. Considering this type of professional profile is highly sought-after by companies at the moment, and based on the success achieved in previous courses, the Faculty of Engineering has launched a more specialised course: Business Intelligence: data analysis and viewing using Power BI.
Data and data processing have become critical in all corporate fields of knowledge, such as: finance, sales, profitability, production, costs, purchasing, logistics, stocks, productivity, performance, quality, client management, digital market action follow-up, web analysis, social networks, etc.
Business Intelligence as part of the Big Data Ecosystem, is playing a major role in current business activities. This workshop will describe approaches, methods and tools for data modelling analysis and viewing, as well as their application to different fields, including economics, administration, business management and digital marketing, not to mention legal and security considerations in data usage and management.
Its application to different fields will be channelled through workshops and study cases taught by professionals from different sectors which will enable first-hand knowledge acquisition of professional insights in Business Intelligence projects.
The main aim of this course is for each participant to create and implement their own BI solution, using Microsoft Power BI, the free leading tool in Business Intelligence.
During the workshop, participants will receive master classes as well as practical training to help them create their own data models. Moreover, they will also benefit from hours of personalised mentoring provided from BI experts to help them solve any queries which may arise during their project development.
This course will kick off on 24th February and will be taught once a week in Bilbao.
