SUBJECTS TAUGHT IN THE MASTER’S DEGREE

Throughout the Master’s Degree, you will acquire the necessary knowledge to become a teaching professional in Gastronomic Sciences:

  • Gastronomic culture.
  • Basic culinary techniques.
  • Educational context, trends and challenges.
  • The learning process and the role of the teacher.
  • Innovation in teaching-learning processes.
  • Design of educational projects.
  • Design of learning experiences.
  • Learning experience at the Basque Culinary Center (optional).
  • Teaching-learning processes in digital ecosystems (optional).
  • Learning tools, methodologies and techniques in cooking (optional).
  • Learning tools, methodologies and techniques for the dining room, cocktail bartending and wine stewardship (optional).
  • Research tools, methodologies and techniques in gastronomy (optional).
  • Communication, team management and conflict resolution (optional).
  • End-of-Master’s Project.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Because classes in the Master’s Degree in Gastronomic Sciences will be taught in Spanish and English, students must provide proof of DELE B2-level competency in Spanish and B2-level competency in English.
