Oñati Camopus

Starting in September, 2010, the Business School's Oñati campus has moved to a new building, also located in Oñati. The building is 8328.64 m2 with 1448 m2 used for classrooms (all of which have projectors and power outlets and data ports for each student even though there is WiFi in the entire building), 240 m2 for computer rooms and 253 m2 for study rooms. The estimated area for coordinating and carrying out academic staff duties totals 1640 m2 (PDI, PAS, coordination offices, meeting and archive rooms).

We have a 735 m2 library that includes a reading room and stacks, quiet area, multi-media room and work rooms in addition to spaces used for library management.

Access to the catalogue of the library's collections and other sources of information is available from 20 computers inside the library or via the library's web site, which can be accessed from any computer inside or outside the business school.

The rest of the building is comprised of common areas (facilities, stairways, hallways, vestibule, restrooms, dressing rooms, first aid) copy services, a restaurant/coffee shop of approximately 300 m2, two offices and a great hall of 300 m2 with seating for 250 people, which can be divided into two smaller spaces, one of which can be a multi-disciplinary space.

The building doesn't have any architectural barriers because it was built recently and the current regulations were applied.

Because there is an electric co-generation plant nearby, it is possible to use the cooling water from the plant to heat the building. Additionally, the building has a “double skin” that prevents heat from entering. Both of these measures contribute to energy savings.

Students have access to all the facilities mentioned above during ample opening hours from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM.

Bidasoa Campus

The Bidasoa Campus, located in the “Palmera Montero” building, is on a plot covering 5240 m2 of which the building occupies 2560 m2. It has a ground floor and two upper floors and it is surrounded by land used for gardens and a public plaza.

The total usable area of the building is 3641.33 m2 distributed over the ground floor with 754.84 m2, the first floor with 2134.88 m2 and the second floor with 751.61 m2.

The building is new and was inaugurated in December, 2016.

In general, the building has 9 classrooms that have whiteboards, a projector, screen and a portable multimedia system. There are also other small classrooms that are used for splitting groups and are also appropriate for more active teaching methods. It also has specific spaces with open access that are appropriate for students working in groups, rooms with computer equipment that have to be reserved and there are also open classrooms for students to use.

Specifically, the campus has 10 work rooms with computers for group projects that are available for student use by reservation.

The entire campus has a Wifi network.

The centre's library has 100% of the basic bibliography recommended by the professors for every subject. There is also an inter library loan service that makes it possible for students to borrow originals or obtain copies of documents that are not in the library.

Bilbao-BBF Campus

The Bilbao campus is located right in the city centre and has a ground floor and two upper floors. The usable area of the building is 5038.81 m2 distributed over the ground floor with 1614.07 m2, the first floor with 1614.75 m2 and a second floor with 1809.99 m2.

In general, the building has 9 classrooms that have whiteboards, a projector, screen and a portable multimedia system. There are also other small classrooms that are used for splitting groups and are also appropriate for more active teaching methods. There are also specific spaces with open access that are appropriate for students working in groups, rooms with computer equipment that have to be reserved and there are also open classrooms for students to use.

Specifically, the campus has 8 work rooms with computers for group projects that are available for student use by reservation.

The department also has a computer room with 30 computers. The computers are up to date and have an agile renewal programme. Students can also print documents in the centre.

The entire campus has a WiFi network.

The centre's library has 100% of the basic bibliography recommended by the professors for every subject. There is also an inter library loan service that makes it possible for students to borrow originals or obtain copies of documents that are not in the library.

At all three campuses, usage of the classrooms and computer equipment for teaching is assigned at the beginning of the year. Occasional use by students is completely open and depends on the availability of the resources. A reservation and application, which can be made by library services, are required to use the meeting rooms and multimedia room.
