Mobility and internationalization
LEARNING JOURNEYS – INTERNATIONAL LEARNING EXPERIENCES
At LEINN, learning happens through entrepreneurship, teamwork, and hands-on experience. That is why, throughout the degree programme, every leinner takes part in several Learning Journeys: international stays designed to develop a global mindset, strengthen entrepreneurial autonomy, and understand how projects operate in real and diverse markets.
These experiences are part of “Module 5: Global Citizens” (30 ECTS) and are fully integrated into the curriculum from the 1st to the 3rd year. Each journey combines practical learning, direct exposure to entrepreneurial ecosystems, collaboration with local communities, and project development in international contexts.

FUNDING OF LEARNING JOURNEYS
The Learning Journeys are an integral part of LEINN’s official curriculum, and their funding combines several sources:
1. Degree tuition
Each international stay includes a portion covered by the tuition fee. This helps ensure equal access for all students to the compulsory journeys. The tuition-covered portion includes:
- Travel and accommodation in the 1st year
- Travel in the 2nd and 3rd years
2. Project-based funding
Throughout the four years of the degree, each team develops real projects that generate revenue. Part of this income is allocated to cover Learning Journey expenses not included in the tuition fee, mainly:
- Accommodation in the 2nd and 3rd years
- Daily expenses and local transport
This dynamic is a core element of LEINN’s pedagogical model: learning to manage real resources, plan investments, and take on financial responsibility as a team.
3. Scholarships and financial aid
Leinners may apply for public or private scholarships and financial aid according to their personal situation, as well as for institutional grants promoted by Mondragon Unibertsitatea.
