There will be a total of 482 new students in the Bachelor’s degree programs offered by the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences: Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Audiovisual Communication, Cultural and Creative Industries and Global Digital Humanities - HDG

The Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences will open the 2025-2026 academic year with 482 new undergraduate students. Of these new students, 414 will be in the degree programs in Early Childhood Education and Primary Education; specifically, 311 new students will study Primary Education and 103 will study Early Childhood Education.

For their part, the degree programs in Audiovisual Communication and the newly launched Cultural and Creative Industries will have 58 new students. This year, the Bachelor’s degree program in Global Digital Humanities - HDG will have a total of 11 new students.

Campuses and start dates

Regarding location, students in Education programs will have their in-person classes on the Eskoriatza campus. Classes in Audiovisual Communication and Cultural and Creative Industries, on the other hand, will be taught on the Aretxabaleta campus. Finally, the degree program in Global Digital Humanities and the Digital Innovation specialty in Primary Education will be based at Bilbao AS Fabrik.

Students in the Bachelor’s degree program in Global Digital Humanities will begin in-person classes on September 11, while students in Primary Education, Early Childhood Education and Audiovisual Communication will start their classes on September 15.

Taking students in all years of study into account, the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences will have approximately 1556 undergraduate students.
