The Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences held its graduation ceremony at the Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao

The event celebrated the 288 students who completed their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Nearly 1,400 people gathered at the Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao.

The Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences held its graduation ceremony for Bachelor’s and Master’s students at the Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao. The event celebrated the 288 undergraduate and Master’s students who completed their studies this academic year. Of the total number of students, 139 earned their degree in Primary Education, 56 in Early Childhood Education, 24 students belonged to the second graduating class of the degree program in Global Digital Humanities, and 45 graduated in Audiovisual Communication. In addition, 40 Master’s students in teacher training and Learning Facilitation and Innovation took part in the event. A total of nearly 1,000 guests gathered for the event held at the Palacio Euskalduna, including students, teachers and family members.

Professor Ane Zuazubiskar served as host for the event, which was attended by Mondragon University Rector Vicente Atxa, and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences Nagore Ipiña. The musical performance featured artist Idoia Asurmendi, who performed four songs on stage. In addition to receiving a souvenir and taking group photos, some of the participating students shared their experiences and videos related to their recently completed studies.

As a souvenir, the new Bachelor’s and Master’s degree holders received a print made jointly by teacher Yera Sánchez and Mikel Etxaburu. At the end of the event, the participants had the chance to take pictures at the photo booth.
