Students from the third year of the Bachelor's Degree in Ecotechnology Engineering in Industrial Processes from Mondragon Unibertsitatea, taught on the Galarreta campus, visited the Usurbil facilities of the Basque cooperative Fagor Ederlan.

During the visit, the students were able to see the production plant, understand the technical aspects of the production process, and learn firsthand how the company operates, among other topics.

The Fagor Ederlan cooperative maintains a close relationship with the Polytechnic School of Mondragon Unibertsitatea, and dozens of engineering students join its plants each year. During the visit, the students were able to hear firsthand about the experience of a student from their own program who is completing their final degree project at the Usurbil plant.

As part of these students' academic program, this year they took the course "Environmental Process Optimization: Foundry." This course provides students with a chance to learn about the innovations and best practices companies are implementing and complement their theoretical work with real-life cases.
