What is the course about?
- You will learn to evaluate joint design and the optimal welding process to apply based on the production process.
- You will gain in-depth knowledge of the most widely used industrial materials and their behavior during welding.
- You will prepare to perform the tests, trials, and inspections required by codes and regulations for welded joints.
- You will be able to assess the level of quality assurance required based on the in-service responsibility of the final product.
- You will learn to analyze and evaluate the causes of defects and how to prevent them.

Practical Information
- Classes one day a week, 7 hours (mainly Mondays, although there may be some Tuesdays as well)
- In-person classes in Ordicia (Guipúzcoa)
- Taught and organized by Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Goierri Eskola, and Lortek
- The course begins on September 29, 2025, and ends on June 9, 2026
