At a time when many schools are reflecting in depth on teaching-learning processes in these times of transformation and educational innovation, and imagining new educational projects, the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences has organized a webinar entitled How is change channeled in the school? How can management facilitate innovation processes? The event will take place online on March 24 at 6:00 pm.

Participants in the webinar include Amaia Antero, Director of Pedagogical Innovation at Arizmendi Ikastola, and Iñigo Beristain, Director of Bastida Herri Eskola. Mondragon University professor and researcher Arantza Ozaeta will serve as facilitator.

REFLECTION ON LEARNING PROCESSES

We will discuss two cases in the webinar: Arizmendi Ikastola and Bastida Herri Eskola. The participants will have the opportunity to become familiar with these schools’ innovation project and learn key ideas to facilitate innovation processes: causes of innovation, qualities, changes in curriculum, methodologies and assessment, teacher training, school culture, etc.

Additionally, the webinar will open reflection on the creation of a network of innovative schools in which both the teaching staff and the innovative schools themselves have an impact on systematic change withing the educational system.

This webinar was organized as part of the University Master’s Degree Program in Learning Facilitation and Innovation (Lit). This Master’s degree was designed in collaboration with the TeamLabs learning laboratory.
