On February 18, Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences professor and researcher Eneko Bidegain presented the second edition of his book, Iparretarrak. The presentation, which was held at the Library on the Eskoriatza Campus, included the writer himself and 4th-year Audiovisual Communication students Irati Egibar and Julene Etxauri, who served as interviewers.

During the presentation, the author of the book explained the evolution of the Iparretarrak organization and the influence that this armed group had in the North Basque Country. The Iparretarrak organization was founded in 1973 and its last armed action was carried out in the year 2000. The book is written with conversations with different leaders of the time as its focal point.

The first edition of Iparretarrak was published in 2007.

En la presentación, el autor del libro explicó la trayectoria de la organización Iparretarrak y la influencia que este grupo armado tuvo en Iparralde. La organización Iparretarrak se creó en 1973. Su última acción armada fue llevada a cabo en el año 2000. El libro está escrito tomando como eje las conversaciones con diferentes protagonistas de la época.

 

La primera edición de Iparretarrak se publicó en 2007.
