myGADE Teaching model 2021 - 2022

Degree in Business Administration and Management (myGADE-Dual)

We detail, on the one hand, the initial dates and general questions of the degree and, on the other, the learning dynamics and evaluation system of the myGADE Degree.

1. Starting dates / General questions

The start dates for the different grade levels and the different campuses are as follows:
  myGADE 1  myGADE 2  myGADE 3 myGADE 4
Oñati Sept 22 Sept 21 Sept 16 Sept 16
Irun Sept 21 Sept 30 Sept 14 Sept 14
Bilbao Sept 21 Sept 30
Looking ahead to September, we are going to divide the group into two subgroups, so that teaching occurs in both subgroups in person. Although the intention is to work under face-to-face criteria, we also consider the possibility that in some periods we adopt a blended format, with part of the face-to-face academic activity and part on-line. And of course, if the conditions derived from COVID-19 require us to do so, we are prepared to switch to a fully online format.

The degree is preparing the schedules and the allocation of classrooms for each subject / module, taking into account the established criteria for classroom attendance and the capacity of the classrooms after applying the protection and interpersonal distancing measures issued by the competent authorities.

2. Learning dynamics

In the case of myGADE 1, the learning dynamics pivot in the development of interdisciplinary modules and the Dual format, which will be activated during the second semester of course 20-21.

The interdisciplinary modules are worked in person, and may in some cases have an online format, when the module needs it. In this first course, students will go to the Oñati and Bidasoa campus on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the morning session. At the Bilbao campus, face-to-face classes will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, also in the morning session. However, the first week of classes will be a special week where students will be welcomed and the peculiarities of the semester will be presented to them, this week being different from the rest, in terms of days and hours. Thus, the proposed calendar for the host week is:

  Monday 21 Tuesday 22 Wednesday 23 Thursday 24 Friday 25
Oñati   X   X X
Irun X X   X
Bilbao X X X

The hours of the first week of reception will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In that week the definitive schedules for the rest of the semester will be presented (being expected to be between 8:00 and 14:00). The addresses of the different campuses are:
