OBJECTIVES AND COMPETENCIES
The overall objective of the Master's Degree in Quantitative Finance is to provide students with the necessary skills to analyse, model and manage complex financial phenomena using advanced quantitative analytical tools. The programme prepares participants to apply quantitative methods in financial decision-making in areas such as risk management, asset valuation, investment and financial product design.
VALUATION OF FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS
Provide solid knowledge in the analysis and valuation of financial instruments, both traditional and derivative.
QUANTITATIVE MODELLING
Develop skills in quantitative and statistical modelling applied to decision-making in complex financial environments.
ADVANCED RISK MANAGEMENT
Promote understanding and management of financial risk, considering its importance in market stability and the current regulatory framework.
