Access Requirements
The Master's Degree in Quantitative Finance is aimed at individuals with a clear analytical focus and a genuine interest in applying modelling, statistics and technology to financial decision-making.
The preferred entry profile covers two main groups:
STEM profiles
graduates in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Data Science or related degrees who wish to apply their quantitative knowledge to the analysis and modelling of financial markets.
Business profiles
graduates in Business Administration and Management, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics or related areas who are interested in acquiring advanced skills in financial instrument valuation and risk management.
Likewise, graduates from other fields who demonstrate motivation, interest in quantitative analysis and a capacity for hard work may also be admitted, provided they receive the necessary academic support to adapt to the level of the programme.
If you have studied one of these degrees, you will have priority access to the master's degree:
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Economics
- Computer Engineering
- Telecommunications Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Business Administration and Management
- Finance
- Statistics
- Data Science
- Actuarial Science and Insurance Science
- Accounting and Finance
- Business Analytics
- Double degrees combining Business with Engineering, Mathematics or Data Science
Therefore, the following criteria will be taken into account for student admission:
- Academic record of the person to be admitted, taking into account the average grade obtained that qualifies them for admission to the Master's programme.
- Curriculum vitae together with a letter of application for admission to the Master's programme, detailing previous experience related to the content of the Master's programme and the motivations for undertaking this training.
- Personal interview with the candidate (in person or online).
- Official English language qualification (B2 - First Certificate) or, failing that, a test to prove knowledge of the language.

The minimum score required for admission to the Master's programme will be 65 points out of 100.
