"Create solutions to the challenges of the future and build a better world"

The new engineering degree in digital product design and development prepares hybrid and interdisciplinary profiles, combining engineering and digital technologies, human-centred design and technological strategy in an integrated way.

Graduates will be able to design, develop and market complex digital products, services and solutions, combining the technical, human and business approaches. To do this, they will acquire applied computational thinking, architecture and development of digital systems and security and privacy awareness, but also design methodologies oriented to user experience, knowledge of human-machine interaction and ethical sensitivity, all complemented by a strategic and systematic vision to understand and lead digital transformation.

Combining the ability to develop and understand advanced technologies, the design of new UXs and interactions, and the strategic approach applied, this degree will create new talents that will act as connector nodes in organizations: not simple computer scientists, not mere designers, but professionals who master the three logics — technical, human and business — in an integrated way, willing to lead digital transformation in a responsible, effective and impactful way.
