The aim of this service is to help non-traditional students and workers develop as fully as possible, ensuring their well-being

 

At the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences we want to move towards inclusive, equitable and quality education for all. We intend to facilitate the participation in the Faculty of students and staff with a heterogeneous profile, for which we will work in the following areas:

Collaboration with the tutors and professors to ensure well-being in any situation in which the student can interact.

We intend to focus on aspects of the Faculty culture, politics and practices that can be improved.

Who is it for?

The recipients will be students who, due to their physical, sensory, intellectual and psychic characteristics have difficulty accessing the Faculty and staying on an equal footing. Also, the service is aimed at all people who will interact with them.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

From the beginning of their relationship with the University, their process will be monitored, helping them to meet their educational, psychological and social needs.

The student will have a reference person in the Attention to Diversity Service throughout the course.

FUNCTIONS OF THE SERVICE

To provide support to non-traditional students.

Training of teachers and staff.

Advising teachers and staff on specific interventions.

 

To meet the socio-educational needs of non-traditional students.

To involve the Faculty community in the welfare of these students and to promote solidarity and volunteering at the Faculty.

Coordination with different actors and other institutions.
