Representatives from Escoles Fedac who participated in the program last year will number among the participants in the meeting, which is entitled “Transform your role, change the school.”

On November 19 in Barcelona, we will present our Specialist Diploma in New Roles for Learning in Education (ROL). The meeting, held under the slogan Transform your role, change the school, will feature Paloma Moruno, a representative from the program; Raquel Fernández, the Trams Foundation Head of International Projects; and three representatives from Fedac: Modest Jou, CEO of the institution, and two alumni who completed the program last year, María Casanoca and Oscar de Paula. Principals of schools in Barcelona and throughout Catalonia in general have been invited to the event, which will be held in person.

The event will begin at noon. The details of the program will be explained and discussion will be opened on the following topics: Is innovation focused on people the best way to respond to the challenges of 21st-century education? Is it realistic to propose collaborative and inclusive innovation? What are we talking about when we talk about community? What tools would we have to acquire to bring about these types of changes and innovations? Do we have the necessary tools to implement those changes?

  • 12:50. Session facilitated by María Casanova and Oscar De Paula, members of the teaching team of Escoles Fedac and of the first generation of the Specialist Diploma in New Roles for Learning in Education.
  • 13:20. Q&A with questions from the in-person audience. Moderator: Paloma Moruno.
  • 13:30. End of the event.

The Specialist Diploma program in New Roles for Learning in Education (ROL) lasts eight months, from November to June (30 ECTS). It is a hybrid program that combines online training with in-person workshops held in Barcelona.

The course is aimed mainly at:

1. Management directors in regulated or non-regulated education centers: people in leadership positions in education centers who want to carry out transformations in those centers: members of the management, directors of design and educational strategies, heads of study, etc.

2. Teachers in primary school, secondary school, academies, universities, Vocational Training or other learning environments who want to incorporate new methodologies and tools in the classroom.

We co-designed the ROL program in collaboration with the TeamLabs learning laboratory. Last year, 26 representatives from Escoles Fedac took part in the program.
