The MBVE-SE project, Minimising the vulnerability of ecosystems to promote long-term quality employment, has been funded by the Programme to promote sustainable and fair ecological transition in the business fabric and the socio-economic ecosystem in Gipuzkoa, of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, in the 2022 call for proposals. Reference: EZAGUTZA-26/2022

Sumary of the project:

Main objective:

The main objective of this project is to develop a guide for organisations to give greater powers to intra-employers in their contribution to minimising the vulnerability of ecosystems and contributing to the generation of quality employment in Gipuzkoa.

Specific objectives:

  • Identify the type of firm based on the use of technology and classify it on the basis of (i) "technology firms" or (ii) "technology-enabled firms".
  • Interpret the type of inter-firm coordination intensity in a possible ecosystem coordination model depending on the category of firm.
  • Based on the typology of use risk to be addressed first; co-innovation risk or adoption risk (Adner & Kappor, 2013).
  • To identify the current intra-entrepreneurship actions in organisations in Gipuzkoa and guide performance to overcome the main risk in order to achieve the cohesion of the ecosystem.
  • To identify the current institutional architecture of Gipuzkoa and its current business system as a possible source for minimising the vulnerability of the current ecosystem.
  • To analyse the acceleration in bridging the current risks based on the current business system in the region.
  • Empowering the intra-entrepreneur as a creator of links between (i) company typology by use of technology, (ii) ecosystem operations, (iii) business system and the region.
