The ZiTeO research group of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon University has received the support of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa for the development of the LanHezi project. Companies, cooperatives, Vocational Training centers and the university will work together on this research project.

The project aims, on the one hand, to generate knowledge to influence the socio-economic ecosystem of Gipuzkoa and the quality of future employment, and, on the other, to develop learning processes and personalized strategies aimed at better training of Vocational Training students, stimulating cooperation between companies and Vocational Training centers and using Big Data and AI tools.

The research will last one year. During this period, the project will be led by researchers from Mondragon University. The research team’s mission will be to gather and analyze data from Vocational Training centers in order to identify learning needs from which to develop personalized learning contexts and identify good practices in collaboration with center instructors and companies.

Saiolan, Vicomtech Technology Center’s group for Data Intelligence for Energy and Industrial Processes, and the Fagor Group will participate in the LanHezi project together with the Science, Technology and Health (ZiTeO) research group of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences.

In the current 2021-2022 academic year, the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences has acquired eight competitive research projects.
