At the event, which was held on the Aretxabaleta campus, students in their 4th year of study in the Bachelor's degree program in Audiovisual Communication made the public presentation of their End-of-Degree Projects and participated in the Kimu Berri awards. The event was attended by the students, their Faculty mentors, and mentors and representatives from the collaborating organizations and companies.

Students in their 4th year of study in the Bachelor’s degree program in Audiovisual Comunication at Mondragon University publicly presented their End-of-Degree Projects (EDPs) to the team of university mentors, mentors from the collaborating organizations and companies, and fellow students. As usual, the public presentation was used for the Kimu Berri competition, now in its 11th year. The event was held on the Aretxabaleta campus, for the first time in the IdeiEnea space.
In this year’s Kimu Berri competition, the jury was made up of three people: Mikel Orobengoa, Director of ISEA Innovation in Advanced Business Services, Idurre Albizu, Head of Business and Communication at PTGaraia, and Iban Garate, member of the MONDRAGON communication team.
The projects were presented as if their creators were making a pitch. When choosing the best presentations, the members of the jury took the following criteria into consideration: the clarity of the presentation, its ability to generate interest, the attractiveness and originality of the presentation, linguistic correctness and, finally, the suitability of the resources and time management. This year, a total of 18 EDPs were completed for the following organizations: Peña Txuri Surf, Airaka-Mauka, Txikitxu Arrostaitz, Gautena, Biziraun, Rippers Agency, Coyotes de Santurtzi, Goiena, Anitzak, Galicia Ambiental, Arteman, Eibar S.D, Antiguako Ama, JMA, Laboral Kutxa, Sorland, AZK and Athlon.
