On June 3, 4th-year Audiovisual Communication students at Mondragon University presented their End-of-Degree Projects (EDPs). As usual in this degree program, the event also included the expected Kimu Berri contest, which gives awards to the best of these presentations. Mondragon University Vice-Rector Jon Aluna hosted the event.

In this year’s Kimu Berri competition, the jury was composed of three people: Mikel Orobengoa, Director of ISEA Innovation in Advanced Business Services; Koldo Azkoitia, head of the Development Agency of the Commonwealth of Debagoiena; and Maialen Torres, professor of the degree program in Audiovisual Communication and member of the Faculty communication team.

The presentations of the 14 projects were brief and quick, pitch-style. When deciding which presentations would win awards, the members of the jury took the following criteria into account: clarity in the presentation, ability to generate interest, attractiveness and originality of the presentation, linguistic correctness and, finally, suitability of resources and time management. This academic year, EDPs were created for the following organizations, among others: EITB, SOS Arrazakeria, Seaska School, Gehitu, Garabide and Yandiola, and the Ardura association. Now that the public presentation has been completed, the students will undergo the academic defense of their EDPs in the next few days.
