The second international Gastronomy Education conference will be held on November 9, under the theme What is the chef of the future like?. The conference is organized by the Basque Culinary Center and the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon University. The event will include discussion about new needs for future education in gastronomy. The one-hour conference will begin at 4:00 p.m.

Anaïs Iglesias and Arantza Mongelos, coordinators of the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training in Gastronomy, will participate, together with Xanty Elias, Spanish chef and creator of the Children Eat the Future project; Constanza Días del Castillo, Designer and Gastronomic Scientist; Héloïse Vilaseca, Director of Innovation and Research of El Celler de Can Roca; Karissa Becerra; and Eugenio Astigarraga.
