Mondragon Unibertsitatea has received the visit of the Rector of the University of the Basque Country / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea
El rector y vicerrector de Mondragon Unibertsitatea han recibido al rector y la vicerrectora del campus de Gipuzkoa de la Universidad del País Vasco / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea en el campus de Arrasate.
Mondragon Unibertsitatea has received the visit of the rector of the University of the Basque Country / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, Joxerramon Bengoetxea and the vice rector of the Gipuzkoa campus, Juana Goizueta.
Both were received by the rector of Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Vicente Atxa, and the academic vice-rector, Jon Altuna.
At this morning's meeting, the rector of Mondragon Unibertsitatea and the rector of the University of the Basque Country / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea exchanged views on the Basque university model, as well as the shared challenges that the system must face. They also shared their views on the recent agreement reached between the Basque and state administrations on the modification of the decree for the creation of universities. Likewise, both have shown their willingness to collaborate for the common good and the strategic challenges of the territory such as, for example, the generation and retention of talent and the revitalization of the Basque language.
