The FLL Euskadi final at Mondragon Unibertsitatea: more than 800 young people will gather in Arrasate and Bilbao.
The competition organised by Innobasque will be held on 28 February. This year, Mondragon Unibertsitatea will have two venues: the usual one in Mondragon and a new venue in Bilbao, specifically on the Bilbao AS Fabrik campus.

Mondragon Unibertsitatea presented First LEGO League Euskadi this afternoon at the Iturripe sports centre, with the participation of Maider Morras, Mayor of Arrasate, Nekane Errasti, Academic Coordinator of the Engineering Faculty of Mondragon Unibertsitatea, and Iñigo Larrea, Head of Talent at MONDRAGON.
In this edition, Mondragon Unibertsitatea will host the final on 28 February at two venues: FLL Euskadi Mondragon and FLL Euskadi Bilbao Mondragon Uni. The former is located in Arrasate and the latter on the Bilbao AS Fabrik campus.
This 17th edition of First LEGO League Eskadi, organised by Innobasque, the Basque Agency for Innovation, together with Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Deusto University and the University of the Basque Country, will have the highest number of participants to date.
At the FLL Euskadi Mondragon headquarters, 13 educational centres will participate with 27 teams in the Challenge category (10-16 years old) and 21 teams in the Explore category (6-9 years old), making a total of approximately 500 young people.
Around 300 young people from six educational centres will participate at the FLL Euskadi Bilbao Mondragon Uni headquarters, divided into 22 teams, 12 of which will participate in the Challenge category (ages 10-16) and 10 in the Explore category (ages 6-9).
Among the messages delivered during the presentation, it is worth highlighting the words of Maider Morras, who mentioned that this is the last edition of FLL Euskadi Mondragon to be held at the Iturripe sports centre in its current form, as renovation work will soon begin and it will look different in future editions.
Nekane Errasti highlighted the opening of a new headquarters to accommodate more teams and more educational centres at the Mondragon Unibertsitatea facilities in Bilbao.
And from MONDRAGON, Iñigo Larrea has highlighted the importance of the First LEGO League in raising our profile and attracting talent..
