Business practice

Mondragon University is permeable to changes in society. Its practical orientation makes it an institution with constant links to the labour market and the companies and organisations within it.

Therefore, we attach great importance to company interships, encouraging our students to come into contact with the working world from their years of study.

Mondragon University is part of MONDRAGON Corporation which contains 230 companies and institutions and more than 70,000 workers.

This close relationship results in the immediate and constant kowledge of the companies' needs and demands, which allows us to adapt our training offer to them, and ensuring, to a great extent, a high and fast degree of placement of our students in the working world.

The students go on internships in different companies and colleges, as important complementary subject to the training acquired at the University.

The duration of the internships varies depending on the area of study. However, in all cases we offer direct monitoring of the development of each student during the internship, by the University tutor and the company or college in which the student carries out their internship.

In some cases, we even offer the option to carry out an internships abroad thanks to the various agreements signed with other universities to enable the student mobility.

Around 500 students from Mondragon University carry out internships every year.

Master´s Thesis

The students who study at Mondragon University carry out a Master's thesis at one of the companies in the university's surroundings.
In this way, students can put into practice the knowledge acquired during their studies, as well as getting used to the routines they must face in their professional practice: teamwork, communication, leadership, creativity, decision making etc.
Master's thesis are an excellent practical complementary subject and are the culmination of first and second-cycle study.

The duration of the project can be one year – specially in the case of first-cycle studies – or 4 months. All projects are tutored by a responsible person from the university and another from the company.

Mondragon University collaborates with numerous companies in carrying out master's thesis, including: Copreci, Caja Laboral, C.A.F., Ulma, Lagun Aro, MONDRAGON Corporación, Danobat, LKS, Condesa, Eroski, E.V.E., Grupo Fagor, Gamesa, Iberdrola, Ingelectric, Maier, Itur, Ona-Pres, Ondoan, Orona, Orkli, Repsol, Sener, Tuboplast, TVA, URRSA, Zahor, Anaia, Azcoyen, Berriola, etc.

Students of Mondragon University carry out more than 500 master's thesis per year.
