With the aim of making life easier for people with low vision, ONCE and Mondragon Unibertsitatea-Mondragon Team Academy are once again launching the second edition of Gure Begirada: a competition aimed at young university students in the Basque Country that aims to solve the daily challenges of people with low vision.

Get to know the HACKATON:

ONCE and Mondragon Team Academy have joined forces to provide innovative solutions to social challenges for people with visual impairment or low vision. The goal is that these solutions driven by young university students improve the lives of these people and promote their participation in society. To this end, we will propose 3 challenges, of which each participating team can work on one of them.

The contest will be carried out in 2 phases:

Phase 1 - 06/10/22 : Ideation

To learn about the problem and devise open solutions as a team. 6 finalist teams will be chosen from Phase 1 and these will move on to Phase 2 of Development and prototyping of the ideas generated. In all the processes the participants have the help of our team and special guests.

Phase 2 - 10/13/22: Development

To deepen the solutions and develop them.
