Mondragon University is collaborating in the ApprenticeshipQ Project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

ApprenticeshipQ is innovative as it intends for the first time to develop a body of best practices between HVET institutions and enterprises, identify innovative practices within the partner countries and ensure the learning outcomes that should be achieved through apprenticeships.

The mission of the project is to develop management tools that support Higher Education institutions and employers to offer and direct high-quality apprenticeships.

The consortium is formed by 8 partners: DHBW from Germany as a project coordinator, Association of Colleges from UK, EURASHE from Belgium, FH Joanneum from Austria, Porto Polytechnic from Portugal, Knowledge Innovation Center from Malta, Association HVC from Slovenia and Mondragon Unibertsitatea.

First steps of the project have permitted to harmonize the understanding of the project activities and common misleading terminology. To address the terminological issues the project decided to identify a set of agreed characteristics that could be used to describe the different forms of work based learning that exists in the partner countries.
