The Business Faculty of Mondragon Unibertsitatea promotes the Etorkizuna Sortzen project
Etorkizuna Sortzen is the experimental guidance program launched this year after a prototype program last year
A total of 2,000 young people are participating in the Etorkizuna Sortzen program, from different schools and towns and cities of the Basque Autonomous Community: Llodio, Amorebieta, Beasain, Hondarribia, Zalla, Zumaia, Zarautz, Legazpi and many others.
The objective of this program is to show that the orientation of students is not only a closed process, but a path, and to show and experiment with different tools with young people. Etorkizuna Sortzen is the experimental guidance program launched this year after a prototype program last year.
For this purpose, the process has been developed in three sessions. The objective of the first session was to promote self-knowledge among young people. Through different games, each one was able to discover his or her own abilities.
In the second session, the young people shared different messages through live video testimonials from various young people to inspire them. Subsequently, they took as a starting point the different areas of work that arise as a result of a real social event. In order to decide how each student can be seen in them, they have carried out a selection process based on competencies and interests.
In the third and last program, to make sure that the choice made in the second program really matches them, they will experiment. From what they have seen on paper, it is absolutely necessary to take action so that the young people can know if the choices they are going to make in the future are the right ones.

In this experimental and innovative project, Laboral Kutxa and several universities in the Basque Country have shown their commitment: the Business Faculty of Mondragon Unibertsitatea, the UPV and the IED Kunsthal Bilbao.
