ALUTOOL, Desarrollo de nuevas tecnologías de vanguardia para la producción de superficies funcionales de alto valor añadido orientadas al sector del estampado de aluminio project has been funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, within the call "Retos Colaboración 2017, del Programa Estatal de Investigación, Desarrollo, e Innovación orientada a los retos de la sociedad, en el marco del Plan Estatal de Investigación, Científica y Técnica y de Innovación, 2013-2016". The objective of the call is to promote technological development, innovation and investigation of quality.

The main objective of the ALUTOOL project is to develop high-specification aluminium finish and structural parts for vehicles through research into new techniques and manufacturing strategies aimed at the sheet-forming process. Thus, it will be possible to train the entire manufacturing value chain of these types of components so that they can become leading suppliers in the development of high-added-value dies for the supply of finishes for the automotive sector.
