At Mondragon Goi Eskola Politeknikoa we have signed a collaboration agreement with Orbik Cybersecurity to jointly promote research, innovation and advanced training in cybersecurity, one of the most strategic technological areas for today's industry.

This alliance, with an initial duration of four years, will allow us to develop R+D projects, generate new knowledge and train specialized talent capable of responding to the growing digital security challenges faced by companies and organizations.

To this end, we will set up mixed work teams made up of Orbik Cybersecurity professionals, research and teaching staff from our university, as well as undergraduate, master's and doctoral students. This collaboration will strengthen the connection between university and business, accelerating technology transfer and bringing students closer to real environments of innovation.

The main lines of work contemplated in the agreement include industrial cybersecurity, software security, networks and systems, artificial intelligence applied to cybersecurity and software testing. These areas will serve as a basis for developing industrial research projects, technology demonstrators, technology watch activities and new initiatives for training and promoting talent.

In addition, we will jointly develop a four-year technological roadmap that will allow us to identify and prioritise the areas of research with the greatest potential for impact on the industrial and business ecosystem.

The collaboration will also favour the development of academic internships, bachelor's and master's degree final projects, doctoral theses and other initiatives aimed at facilitating the incorporation of our students into the labour market.

With this agreement, we reinforce our commitment to the development of advanced capabilities in cybersecurity, a key discipline for the competitiveness, resilience and digital transformation of industry and society.
