On April 26, writer Joseba Sarrionandia, singer Olaia Inziarte, verse singer Oihana Iguaran and playwright Mattin Irigoien will take part in a colloquium entitled “Culture that creates a nation, agent of the Basque language”. The event, which will be held on the Eskoriatza campus, is open to the public, but interested parties must register in advance.

On April 26, on the Eskoriatza campus, the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences will hold a colloquium entitled Culture that creates a nation, agent of the Basque language. Leading creators will participate in the event: writer Joseba Sarrionandia, singer Olaia Inziarte, verse singer Oihana Iguaran and playwright Mattin Irigoien. Faculty professor and researcher Eneko Bidegain will moderate. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. in room D.0.3. The gathering is open to the public, but interested parties must register online in advance.

The new Master’s program to be offered by the Faculty next year will also be presented as part of the gathering: Master’s degree program in Promotion of Basque Culture. Before the discussion begins, Master’s program professor Jon Sarasua and Basque Summer University Director Aitor Bengoetxea will introduce the new Master’s program and explain its objectives.
