Cybersecurity has become a strategic pillar for the competitiveness of Basque companies, especially in a context of accelerated digitalisation and an increase in security incidents.

In this conference we will talk about cyber incidents, the importance of carrying out drills to test the response capacity of companies to a realistic attack, identifying organizational, technical and communicative vulnerabilities.

We will also show practical examples and good practices extracted from real experiences, through a simulation exercise of a Ransomware-type cyber incident on a fictitious company.

Objectives

  • Raise awareness among companies about cyber incidents and the importance of training the response to cyberattacks before suffering them.
  • Show different types of cyber incidents, explaining the scenarios and profiles involved (management, IT, communication, HR, etc.).
  • To publicise the direct benefits that companies obtain from participating (improved coordination, reduction of reaction times, identification of real weaknesses).

Aimed at

  • IT and OT managers in SMEs and industries.
  • Managers of business and operations areas.
  • Professionals interested in responding to cyber incidents.
