The meeting was held in Malta on 19 and 20 June to plan the first work plan that will lead the alliance to fulfil its mission and vision.

The EU4DUAL Alliance, an unprecedented collaboration of nine leading dual university institutions in Europe, has finalised its first work plan during a meeting in Malta on 19-20 June. 

The rectors of each of the nine institutions have met to plan the contribution of each of the universities to achieving the Alliance's mission and vision.

The mission of the Alliance is to become the top-quality reference for dual higher education by forming the largest integrated dual higher education institution in the world: a multiddistiplinary, multi-campus institution committed to close integration between academia, industry and regions.

In a meeting hosted by the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST), elected its new Secretary General, Mr.Jhon L. Harris who brings more than 30 years of experience in industry and corporate diplomacy and stakeholders engagement across mutiple continents

In addition, the work plan for the first year has been approved, the main priority of which will be to establish the governing bodies, including the Academic and Student Councils, the Industry Relations Council and the Advisory Board. 

Moreover, the Alliance will also embark on a programme that will investigate the methods and impact of dual higher education.   

By the end of the year the Alliance will also announce a master's degree in dual studies and the first catalogue of micro-credentials focused on the Future of Work. It will also launch a Dual Studies Centre of Excellence.
