On May 31 and June 1 of the coming year, the first scientific meeting to discuss socioeconomic, cultural, and linguistic diversity in the schools will be held on the Eskoriatza campus.

The conference is organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Education and will focus on the ADI project that is being carried out by the Faculty.

During the conference, the research, analysis, and first conclusions from the first year of work will be presented, and participants will learn about experiences outside the Basque Country to keep in mind in the research field of socioeconomic, cultural, and linguistic diversity in the schools.

This ADI project led by researchers from the Faculty of Humanities and Education will last for three years. During the process of the project, the Faculty will work side by side with the Luis Ezeiza school in Eskoriatza and the Arrateko Andra Mari school in Eibar. During the conference, researchers will present the methodological strategies that have been under development in those educational centers for the purpose of working on the positive management of socioeconomic, cultural, and linguistic diversity.

May 31 (Wednesday)

  • 15:45-16:15 Presentation and analysis of the Arrateko Andra Mari project.

June 1 (Thursday)

  • 10:15-10:45 Coffee break.
  • 11:00-13:00 Presentation and analysis of the Luis Ezeiza project. Visit to the center.
  • 13.00-14:30 Lunch.
  • 14:30-16:00 Parallel sessions: families and teaching staff.
  • 16:00-16:30 Sharing time for the parallel sessions.
  • 16:30-18:00 Possibilities for collaboration between the Faculty of Humanities and Education and UVIC.
