The H2EXCELLENCE proyect starts with the aim of generating teaching resources on fuel cells and hydrogen
Research staff from the Polytechnic School of Mondragon Unibertsitatea specialising in energy are taking part in this project promoted by the European Commission.
Research staff from the Higher Polytechnic School of Mondragon Unibertsitatea have taken part in the kick-off meeting of the H2Excellence project, Fuel Cells and Green Hydrogen Centers of Vocational Excellence towards affordable, secure, and sustainable energy for Europe.
H2Excellence aims to identify the training needs of companies in the field of fuel cells and green hydrogen and then design specific curricula and training material to meet this demand. The programmes and material that will be generated will be aimed at both university bachelor's and master's degree courses, as well as other types of courses aimed at professionals.
The first meeting of the project took place on 11 and 12 September in the city of Vaasa, Finland, where the work team defined the work packages and the most important milestones of the project.

The Polytechnic School of Mondragon Unibertsitatea has been developing knowledge and providing training related to hydrogen for several years, an example of which is the Inter-University Master's Degree in Hydrogen Technologies or the research and transfer projects that are being carried out with the support and collaboration of companies and institutions.
In this sense, with the H2Excellence project, Mondragon Unibertsitatea is taking a new step and collaborating with new national and international entities from Finland, Italy, Portugal, France, Romania, Germany, Greece and Poland.
