The series consists of three webinars, where each will present one of the three technologies:

CIRMET webinar: Part 1 – 24.05.2022, 10:30-11:50 CET

The first part will focus on the EFFIMELT system, an innovative solution to valorise metal-containing industrial wastes. The system, based on a metallurgical furnace heated with thermal plasma energy and using biogenic carbon processed from biomass, represents a sustainable and versatile solution that can be integrated in any energy intensive industry process unit to provide a second life to waste

CIRMET webinar: Part 2 – 27.05.2022, 11:30-12:45 CET

The second part will focus on the RECUWASTE technology, a system designed to recover waste heat from low/medium-temperature flue gases. The technology, based on the Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) allows to recover mechanical energy to feed an air compressor, reducing the electricity consumption. The use of a continuous variable transmission (CVT) and energy storage systems further increases its flexibility, allowing to adapt the demand and supply of compressed air.

CIRMET webinar: Part 3 – 03.06.2022, 10:30-12:00 CET

The third part will focus on AAF4.0 platform (Analytics for Factories 4.0). It is a platform for the optimization of industrial production processes through a combination of a complete set of versatile, scalable and replicable physical and digital tools. The solution has adopted the concepts of Industry 4.0 impacting the whole supply chain, from the raw materials suppliers to the waste and by-products processor, covering all lifecycle stages.
