Young researcher Pablo Valle, from the Mondragon Unibertsitatea Faculty of Engineering, has been selected to participate in the Heidelberg Laureate Forum (HLF) international conference. This conference is open to only 200 people from around the world: 100 students from the field of computer science and another 100 from the field of mathematics.
Conference participants will spend a week with leading figures in these fields, recipients of the Abel Prize, the ACM A.M. Turing Award, the ACM Prize in Computer Science, the Fields Medal, the IMU Abacus Medal, and the Nevanlinnam Prize.
To attend this conference, an experienced researcher must recommend a candidate. Junior researchers then go through a selection process that evaluates their work and results obtained to date.
Research Career
Pablo Valle studied Computer Engineering and a Master's in Robotics and Automation at Mondragon Unibertsitatea. During his degree, he participated in the Dual Program and joined the university's Software Engineering research group. He is currently developing his doctoral thesis in the field of software engineering, specifically researching the automatic repair of cyber-physical systems. The experience he has accumulated over these years collaborating with the university's research group has led him to be one of the few worldwide selected for the Heidelberg Laureate Formula.
