Musika Bulegoa and the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon University have signed a collaboration agreement. At the event, which was held on the Aretxabaleta campus, Musika Bulegoa was represented by managing director Iker Durana and member of management Amaia Ispizua, and Mondragon University by Nagore Ipiña, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences, and Director of the Communication area Xabi Igoa.

Training and research in the cultural sector

The purpose of the signed agreement is to lay the foundations for joint work by the two organizations on aspects such as training, research in the cultural sector, and the quest to have an impact on the music sector.

Thus, the agreement provides for joint work in the new Cultural and Creative Industries degree program launched this year at the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon University, a task that translates into the incorporation of professionals from the music sector into the degree program. In addition, students will be able to do internships and their End-of-Degree Project within this association. Finally, the two organizations have agreed to promote research and training in the cultural field as well as to work together on other projects that may arise.

The signed collaboration agreement highlights the interest of Musika Bulegoa and the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences of Mondragon University in maintaining a close relationship and in achieving efficient collaboration.

 

 

After signing the document, Iker Durana, managing director of Musika Bulegoa, stated that “this agreement allows us to bring the reality of the music sector closer to the university and work together so that students can learn from active professionals. We are convinced that this collaboration will foster innovation and strengthen the cultural network that surrounds us.”

For her part, Nagore Ipiña, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences, defined Musika Bulegoa as “a key agent in the cultural and creative industry sector” and stressed that “this relationship will have an impact in both directions: on the one hand, students will be able to learn about the professional sector and, on the other hand, it provides an opportunity to respond to the needs of that sector.”

The institutional representatives closed the event by adding that they hope that this collaboration will be fruitful and will lead to future joint projects in the cultural and educational fields.
