The awards for the best end-of-course projects in Basque were presented on the premises of the MONDRAGON Corporation in Arrasate. Two projects from MONDRAGON UNIBERTSITATEA collected awards.

The winner of the first prize was Marakel Azkue Etxeandia, with the project for IKERLAN titled “DEVELOPMENT OF DEGRADATION MODELS FOR LI-ION BATTERIES USING LEARNING TRANSFER METHODS” which received a prize of € 1,500. Markel studied a Bachelor's Degree in Energy Engineering, followed by a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering and he is currently continuing his training in the PhD Programme in Applied Engineering, all at Mondragon Unibertsitatea.

The winner of the second prize was Garazi Eizmendi Iribar with the project for Danobat titled “APPLICATION OF THE DYNAMICS THAT GUARANTEE THE COMPLICITY OF A COSTING SYSTEM FOR THE BIDDING AND ORDER AREA”. In this case, the prize was € 500. Garazi studied a Degree in Engineering in Industrial Organisations. 

These awards were created at the initiative of the Basque Language Committee of MONDRAGON Corporation ten years ago in order to ensure that End-of-Course Projects carried out by the students of Mondragon Unibertsitatea in their access to the professional world are developed in Basque.
