Engineering Summer Campus

The aim of the Engineering Summer Campus is to introduce young people to the different areas of engineering so that they can become familiar with the areas of design, computer science, electronics, mechanics, biomedicine and organization. Choosing the right path for your studies can be challenging, which is precisely why the Campus aims to assist students in this process. This is how the organizers explain it: “Have you ever imagined yourself contributing to a more sustainable, inclusive and just society? An engineering professional can innovate using technology as a tool, and this week you’ll discover how by participating in fun-filled workshops, visits and group activities.

You’ll meet new people and have a great time! Which area of engineering do you think you’ll like best? Come and find out for yourself!”

Communication Summer Campus

The Communication Summer Campus will be held for the third time this summer, organized by the Mondragon University’s Bachelor’s degree program in Audiovisual Communication in collaboration with Goiena.

The aim of the Communication Summer Campus is to introduce young people to the world of communication in a practical and fun way. To this end, the following topics will be addressed, among others: how a set for television works, how to get in front of the camera, how to make podcasts, photojournalism, how to campaign on social networks, etc. In this third year of the Campus, we will work on the creation, realization and distribution on social networks of a video podcast. The young participants will have access to the resources of the Aretxabaleta campus of Mondragon University: television studio, computers, audiovisual materials, etc. They will also become familiar with and work at the Goiena headquarters in Arrasate, where they will visit the newsroom, the television studio, etc.
